Turn Point Design is a small CNC shop that specializes in 3d computer cutting of molds, tooling, and parts for composite applications. Accuracy and service are our largest assets. Our small dedicated staff insures that your projects are treated with care, respect, and urgency. Materials we process include foam, composites, carbon fiber, fiberglass, aluminum, wood, and other tooling substrates.
Turn Point Design has machined more than 100 parts and tools for America’s Cup racing boats over the last three years. These parts demand high levels of accuracy, quick turnaround times, and must be cut correctly the first time.
Our newest machine is a DMS 5-axis CNC router with a cutting envelope of 5’ x 10’ x 4’. This machine allows us to cut large tools and parts with an accuracy of .002”.
