About Us

Turn Point Design We are a small CNC shop located in the San Juan Islands of Washington State. With the use of our Multicam CNC machine and 3d CAD we can produce complicated parts with an accuracy of .002". We enjoy incorporating curved elements, nautical flair, and the customer's stylistic themes into our designs. With the use of computer aided machining we can produce these challenging designs with precision accuracy. |

Owner Brandon Davis is the owner and CNC operator at Turn Point Design. Brandon has a diverse background that has centered around the ocean and boats. He spent 7 years as a fisheries biologist in the Bering Sea, North Pacific, Indian Ocean, and Antarctic Ocean. After his stint in biology, he started his own charter business in the San Juan Islands serving as a professional skipper for 5 years aboard a 50 foot trimaran that served as a kayak mothership. But more importantly, Brandon has spent most of his life building and rebuilding boats of all construction types. This experience translates to cabinetry with a nautical flair, signs with finishes that can withstand the elements, and boat parts that use materials/designs proven at sea. |
